The place to be in October was Atlanta in Geogia where The CKCSC USA held it's National Specialty hosted by Cavaliers of the South. This was accompanied by two other events, the Trudy Brown Albrecht Rally, and the Elizabeth I. Spalding Memorial Show. If this wasn't enough to satisfy your Cavalier needs there was also Puppy and Veteran Sweeps, an Obedience/Rally, Children’s Handling, Health Clinics and Seminar, Parade of Champions, Banquet, Live & Silent Auctions and the prestigious Top 20 Gala. Truly an enjoyable overdose. The hotel was ideally situated close to Atlanta Airport making it easy for those attending and the popular venue provided everything needed for a truly wonderful extravaganza. It even had rooms with a view of the Atlanta Skyline.
I know we all appreciated the hard work put in by Cavaliers of the South and the CKCSC USA who succeeded in putting the SPECIAL into the Specialty in Atlanta. Pulling off something like this takes time, dedication and sheer hard work! It was a feast of Cavaliers and a Specialty that ticked all the boxes. Speaking for all the overseas visitors...we had a blast and enjoyed our visit enormously. Laughter is good for you! It was great catching up with everyone, old and new friends alike. I know how hard everyone worked behind the scenes, whilst the majority of us reaped the benefits. Hospitality in the South is well known and this was no exception. Thank you for inviting me to be one of the Top 20 Event judges...a task I really enjoyed.
Now enjoy some moments captured of the 4 fun packed days.
