Sad news that Janet Reaney from Wakefield in West Yorkshire has passed away. Janet had Royalvale Cavaliers and amongst her successes was a RCC won with Royalvale The Soul Singer.Our sympathy to her husband Roger, the family and friends at this time.

I tracked down the man at the American KC who is in charge of infractions of these things. He returned my call very promptly, and read off all the rules and regulations that pertain to such things, he gave me a few words of advice. First, if you belong to an AKC club, make sure your delegate pressures the board to change policy. My personal recommendation is that every dog sold in an auction or in a pet store immediately have it's AKC registrations cancelled. He also recommended that we all personally write to the AKC at their New York headquarters and state our case. The American Kennel Club, 4th floor, 260 Madison Ave, New York, NY. USA, 10016. Please be polite, this gentleman was very nice to me and spent time explaining things. You will get further with peaceful pressure (Ghandi) than with rudeness and abuse (rioting).
If someone has the facts on anone illegally registering a dog without an export pedigree, please send them to Mr Norton. Falsifying papers will hang wrong doers faster than anything.
If anyone knows anyone in the UKC, they need the same pressure. They are the only other multi breed registry in the US. Dogs without legitimate registrations are of little value. Believe me, puppy mills and the Amish do not bother with things of no commercial value.
If everyone that sent a donation to save the Missouri Auction Cavalierscontacts the AKC---that will be a lot of pressure. If you donated more than once, write more than once. If you are at an AKC show in the next little while, discuss this with your AKC rep. This is high profile now, so close in for the kill.
Repost this, cross post this and make sure every friend you have in dogs is on this. Whether they know it or not, every breed is in danger. For many it is too late, but it is up to us to stop it now.

Alison Shennen from Dalbeattie in Scotland does a great job dog/house sitting and I speak from personal experience. US actor, 32-year-old actor Seth Rogen, protectively carries his dog "Zelda" through LAX terminal.
