I have had a great deal of pleasure bringing you all the news from around the World. Looking forward to 2015. Thanks for all the encouragement and gratitude received.

 

 

 

CLEVER CRYSTAL

  Crystal

"CRYSTAL" (Bonitos Companeros Crystal at Craigowl) has earned her Junior Warrant by winning the required number of classes at Championship and Open shows before she was 18 months old. Sired by Cinderlace Monte at Calonlan out of Bonitos Companeros Zabaione.  DSC_02532014 was a great year starting with Best Puppy in Breed at the CKCSC Show and Crufts and going on to win Best in Show at the Northern Cavalier Club show and a Reserve CC at Driffield Ch show.

 

 

 

 

FELICITATIONS TO FELICITATIONS

Carolus Felicitation At Beaconsfield(Carolus Don Ricco JW ShCM x Kilbarchan's Snopwdrop At Carolus)) has also gained the final points for her Junior Warrantat just a week over 14 months. "Flissy" had a super summer including Best Puppy in Breed at East of England Championship show and Best Puppy Bitch at Darlington. Roxanne Hobbs, her owner, writes "I am especially proud, as this my very first JW and brings my studbook numbers gained up to 7 since I started showing in 2006. "Flissy's" JW is also special for her breeders, Chris, Bill and Jennie Knight as this will be the first Carolus tricolour to gain the award."
 

 

FAREWELL MARY

AnimatedCandleThoughtandPrayersThe Cavalier World has lost another famous UK breeder/exhibitor /judge. Mary Millican Park of Peatland Cavalierspassed away on Sunday 28th December 2014. Mary was very successful in the mid 70s and 80s and two of her most famous Cavaliers were Ch Peatland Flora Jensen and Ch Petland Norseman. There will be a service and cremation at Lancaster Crematorium in Lancashire at 2.45 pm on Monday 12th January followed by refreshments at the Crown Hotel. Carnforth. A lovely lady.

Nantes Dog show was a "PINK" party with all invited to wear something pink on their attire. Judges on day 1 was Norma Inglis and Michael Leonard and on day 2 it was Chantal Trenchant. With over 4500 dogs, 500 cats and 1500 poultry being exhibited there was something for everyone. After judging the Cavalier exhibitors laid on a feast including Oysters and Chamoagne. What a fun time it was!
