SOUTH PAWS
A couple of good reasons to attend the Southern Cavalier Club Ch show at Woking is that chocolate Easter eggs are on offer to all prize winners and you can win some tidy money in the Grand National (Horse race)
sweepstake organised by Mark Sedgwick! Putting these added attractions aside, 193 Cavaliers gathered for the assessment by this year's judges Rob Dix (Beewye) doing dogs and Tony Allcock MBE(Sleepyhollow) doing bitches. Here are some photos of the day. ps I won £5 for my horse coming 4th in the race and Sally won an Easter egg!

RIP RICK BEAUCHAMP
Well known American judge Richard (Rick) Beauchamp passed away a few days ago at his home. Rick was a Charter Member of the American CKCS Club and co-owned several Cavaliers in the 1990’s. As well as a judge held in high esteem, he was a writer and a big fan of our breed. I had the pleasure of judging with him in 2006 at the National /Cavaliers of Greater Atlanta Regional Specialty and enjoyed corresponding with him afterwards. He will be missed.
