THE "FLOWERS" OF SCOTLAND AT ALVA
The Scottish CKCS Club Spring Open show has the prettiest setting...the small town of Alva at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Clackmannanshire.
This year's judge Wilma Morrison (Bowerswell) had drawn an entry of approx 90 and had kindly donated embroidered towels as prizes for the major winners. The Scottish Club shows are all very welcoming and sociable and as well as being run competently by the Committee they manage successfully to generate a warm informality that blends the showing side with a social gathering. Here are some of my photos from the day.
